  • How do I know if I am eligible to participate?
To ensure accuracy among all users, the FDA requires medical devices be tested by a variety of people. We need paid volunteers in all skin tone ranges, ages and other criteria for diversity in our testing groups. Fill out our enrollment form and a member of our recruitment team will contact you.
  • I signed up...what's next?
Once you sign up, our recruitment team will review your information and reach out to discuss any studies you may qualify for, and next steps. You do not need to sign up more than once. After you are in the database, the team will proactively reach out to discuss studies you may be eligible to participate in.
  • Where are you located?
We are located at off Hwy 36 and Interlocken Loop Exit, near Flatiron Crossing Mall in Broomfield, CO 520 Zang St. Suite 209 Broomfield, CO 80021 Enter through the doors with the large "520" sign above it (next door to Champion Cleaners). We are on the second floor directly across from the elevator.
  • What should I expect?
Upon arrival, you will check in with our front desk and complete some paperwork including a W9, and your informed consent. Female participants may be asked to take a pregnancy test. Some studies may require measurements of your wrists, biceps, fingers, etc. After paperwork and any necessary measurements are complete, you will be escorted to one of our labs where our friendly and professional clinicians and technicians will guide you through your study.
  • When should I arrive?
Please arrive at our front desk no later than the time provided to you by our scheduling team. We may not be able to accommodate late arrivals.
  • How long does it take?
The length of time for each study will vary. A member of our scheduling team will let you know how long you should expect to be on site. The amount of time discussed with you by our scheduler includes the time to complete your paperwork and study.
  • What is an arterial line?
Some of our studies require an arterial ("art") line. Art lines are similar to an IV, however, are placed in the artery in your wrist rather than a vein. To ensure maximum safety, art lines are always placed by one of our on-staff Doctors using an ultrasound for placement accuracy. Lidocaine is used to minimize discomfort. We recommend for 48 hours following your study that you will avoid excessive movement of the wrist (i.e. sports) and lifting more than 10 lbs.
  • Do I need to take any medication to participate?
Our lab does not perform any studies that require medication. You will be asked for the list of medications you do take. Please have that information and dosages available when filling out your paperwork.
  • How do I get paid?
All participants are paid via a prepaid debit card (CT payer card) at the conclusion of your study. Save your card as it will be reloaded when you participate in future studies. Referral payments are paid within 30 days of your referral completing their study. If you need help with your CT Payer Card, please visit CT Payer Card Support FAQ.
  • Why do I need to fill out a W9?
Each participant will need to complete a W9 to receive payment. Participants who are compensated $500 or more in a calendar year will receive an I9 for tax purposes.
