Parameters Lab is now enrolling adults with high blood pressure and darkly pigmented skin tones for a research study for the development of a cuffless blood pressure device that uses different types of cameras.
There is no cost to participate. Those who qualify will receive up to $800 (With Possible Additional $300 for an additional visit) in compensation. We encourage you to review the participation requirements listed below.
Qualified participants must be:

Between 21-60 years old

If you turn 61 during the expected course of the study visits, you will not be eligible even if 60 at screening and enrollment

In generally good health with high blood pressure (hypertension)

Monk Skin Tones 8, 9, & 10: Dark skin tones, never sunburns

Able and willing to:

Attend visits in Broomfield, CO

Complete one screening visit, three study visits, and possible additional 4th study visit
-
Have bicep blood pressure measurements taken via a blood pressure cuff
-
Have Video/Photos taken throughout study visits
-
Have IV blood sample taken for glucose level
-
Wear a nasal canula during study for respiratory rate
-
Participate in on-site screening including, but not limited to, ECG, and urinalysis
Total compensation is dependent on the number of visits completed.

Enrolled on Visit 1 - $250.00

Return for Visit 2 and able to participate - $150.00

Return for Visit 3 and able to participate - $300.00

Bonus for completing the first three visits - $100.00
Based on the study procedures above, you may be paid up to $800.00 for three study visits.
Depending on study needs, returning for an optional Visit 4 and able to participate: Additional $300.00
