Bridging the Hypertension Knowledge Gap with Wearable Technology
A recent JAMA survey revealed that many U.S. adults lack key knowledge about hypertension, including the correct threshold for diagnosis and the importance of regular monitoring. Despite widespread awareness of prevention strategies such as diet and exercise, fewer than one-quarter of people with hypertension reported checking their blood pressure more than once a week.
